GUEST SPEAKER
As a guest speaker, you’ll have an excellent opportunity to raise your company’s profile, gain public speaking experience, while also networking with our students. You may even attract potential future employees. Talk to us about your topic expertise and we’ll assign you on a fist come-first serve basis.
Guest speakers enhance the student experience by introducing them to industry professionals and creating opportunities for students to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world experiences.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for guest speakers to ignite discussion around a variety of topics including:
- Corporate innovation
- Startup financing
- Technology innovation
- Market strategy
- Intellectual property
What's involved

1-3 hours.

In-person (sometimes possible online).

Opportunities primarily available between September and June.

4-6 guest speakers per year.
MENTORSHIP
As a mentor, you’ll have the opportunity to give back and support the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem. You’ll also be able to grow and learn too – you’ll expand leadership skills, strengthen your communication abilities and gain valuable fresh perspectives from your mentee. You’ll also be able to contribute to someone’s success through your knowledge and experience.
Mentors provide valuable support and guidance to students by sharing their entrepreneurial journey. Lived experience stories, shared networks and taking time to listen and answer questions helps set up future entrepreneurs for success.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a mentor, you'll have an opportunity to give back and support the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem by providing mentorship. You'll also gain a fresh perspective from your mentee.
Mentors provide valuable support and guidance to students throughout the entrepreneurial journey. They share insights based on their experiences, provide networking opportunities and take time to listen, setting our students up for future success.
What's involved

Varies. It can be just a few hours per week for one term or ½ day to 1 day, twice a year.

Your choice. Online or in-person.

Throughout the year at the start of term (September, January, May).

20-30 mentors needed per year.
CASE STUDIES
Being a case study participant will give you an opportunity to bring the example of real problems to a classroom of students who are eager and willing to provide fresh perspectives. You’ll have the opportunity to expose students to your company or industry and gain access to talented future entrepreneurs and innovators.
Case studies are an opportunity for students to solve real problems faced by real companies, providing practical learning applied to the theories learned in class. Case studies allow students to work through business decisions, balance options and perspectives, source facts and analyze data to support their decision.
