SUPPORTING OUR EMPLOYEES

As we prepare to welcome staff, faculty and instructors back to campus, the health and safety of our entire University community remains our top priority. We will continue to rely on public health directives to inform evidence-based decisions that consider equity issues while remaining open, transparent and collaborative.


Open communication

We will ensure that employees are represented and involved in developing plans and recommendations. These will be clear, well communicated and ready to implement.


Accommodations

If you have concerns about returning to campus, an accommodation might be possible based on your needs. Faculty members should contact the Academic Freedom and Tenure committee (AF&T), and for all other employees, please discuss your needs with your manager. If your need is related to your personal medical situation, please contact Occupational Health for further discussion.


Returning to campus

Employees returning to campus will be provided with training and face coverings and extra cleaning supplies will be made available.


Working from home

Employees who are working from home can access resources to support their work.


Need support?

Employees can access supports through Homewood Health, the University’s Employee and Family Assistance partner online or at 1-800-663-1142.
